The Monsters of Rock guitar/band workshop is designed to give guitarists between the ages of 8 and 18 the opportunity to play together with other musicians and encourage learning whilst performing together as a band.

Workshop Information

The Monsters of Rock workshop is suitable for guitarists with one or more years playing experience (grade 3 and under). The workshop will have an emphasis on playing in a full band including a drummer, bassist and singer.

What to bring

Electric Guitar
Amplifier (15/30 Watt)
Plectrums
Guitar Cable
Guitar Strap
Music Stand (Optional)
Note Pad and Pen

Setlist

During the workshop participants will learn the following full-length songs:

You Really Got Me - The Kinks / Van Halen
Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes

Where & When

Where: Bathford Parish Hall [map]

When: Saturday 27th March 2010 (2pm-5pm)

Cost: £25 per person. Payment in advance. No refunds.

Squash and a snack will be available during the interval.

Parents are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early [approximately 4.30pm] to collect their children and watch the showcase performance of the full band songs.
