Q. What plectrums do you use?
A. I have used Dunlop Stubby's for many years but I recently started using Dunlop Jazz IIIs, the Max-Grip style picks.
Q. What strings do you use?
A. I use Ernie Ball Slinkys or Super Slinky's for my teaching guitars. I also use Elixir strings and D'Addario flat wound strings, too.
Q. What guitars do you use?
A. I have owned so many different guitars. My current guitar collection includes the following:

- Eric Johnson Sig. Stratocaster (Caramel Burst)
- Jeff Beck Sig. Stratocaster (Olympic White)

Q. What amplifiers do you use?
A. Again I have owned lots of different amplifiers. For teaching I use Marshall MG Range of amplifiers.
My personal collections includes:
- Cornell Plexi 7 (7 Watt)
- Fender Blues Junior (15 Watt)
- Swart Space Tone (5 Watt)
Q. What are the guitar players that inspired you to play the guitar?
A. I first picked up the guitar in the mid-nineties and it was the middle of Brit-Pop.
So my first guitar heros were:
- Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead)
- Noel Gallagher (Oasis)
- Graham Coxon (Blur)
- Johnny Marr (The Smiths)
- John Squire (The Stones Roses / The Seahorses)
- Peter Buck (REM)
Q. Who are the greatest guitar players ever?
A. This one really is a hard question to answer because it is always down to peronal opinion. I would give a top 5 list with a great player from each decade.
My Top 5
- Eric Clapton (60s - Cream era)
- Jimmy Page (70s - Led Zep)
- Stevie Stevens (80s Billy Idol)
- The Edge (90s - U2)
- Matt Bellamy (00s - Muse)
There are many many more great great guitar players that I could have said, indluding: Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen etc.
Q. What would be your desert island disc?
A. This is another tough one. Ummm, again, being a 90s teenager I would have to say Radiohead's 'OK Computer' album from 1997, which is just amazing from start to finish.
